Nice to meet you. I am Takeaki Miyamoto, a lawyer at SAKURA Law Office.

I started my career as a lawyer at the largest law firm in Japan, Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, where I was involved in a wide range of legal services, including financial law, real estate law, corporate law, and cross-border cases.

During my time at Anderson Mori & Tomotsune, I learned an immense amount. However, one thing I must never forget as a lawyer is the unwavering commitment to delivering meticulous and flawless legal services to my clients. As a lawyer, it is a given that I must provide clients with a broad strategic direction based on proper legal interpretation. Beyond that, I have learned that the essence of top-quality legal service lies in delivering a flawless product backed by thorough and exhaustive research.

An Environment Where Everyone Can Continuously Create New Value

The law often stands as a barrier to new challenges.

Since the role of the law is to balance conflicting interests and protect existing rights, it is inevitable that legal barriers arise.

However, I believe that interesting ideas must be brought into the public sphere as long as they are legally and socially acceptable, and that they must not be hindered by misinterpretation or misapplication of the law.

I believe that a good society is one in which everyone has an environment that allows them to continuously create new value. When advising clients as a lawyer, I always make a conscious effort to maintain a proactive stance.

Paradoxically, however, I believe that the most important aspect of continuous innovation is first establishing a solid foundation, in other words, building a thorough compliance system.

To fully support my clients in their challenges, I will continue to refine my expertise on a daily basis to ensure the highest quality legal services.
